Residential conferences

APIL’s residential conferences are presented as hybrid events, which means that delegates have the opportunity to either attend in person or alternatively, they can view the event virtually, via APIL’s conference app. All delegates are provided with full access to the conference app. This feature plays an important role in the event, giving our sponsors and exhibitors even more opportunity than ever before to keep in touch with the conference attendees.

PI Focus membership magazine

Relaunched in September, APIL’s flagship magazine is now 64 pages, perfect-bound, with a vibrant, high impact and modern look.

There is also a new digital version with interactive page-turn technology and click through advertising opportunities.

The inaugural September edition is available free of charge to everyone. We would welcome the opportunity of arranging a meeting with you to discuss APIL membership and/or commercial opportunities. Please enter your email address below and click submit to view the publication.

Read by more than 3,000 personal injury lawyers, PI Focus is circulated to the full APIL membership comprising mainly solicitors, barristers, and legal executives.

It is also read by expert witnesses, medical and other professionals, and is available to non-APIL members on subscription.

Expert witnesses

Our well-established online expert witness search lists the details of around 500 experts from a diverse range of disciplines. At present the online directory alone receives 10,000 hits per month and our members carry out over 2,500 unique searches each month.

As well as providing APIL members with a valuable resource, we can also provide experts with excellent opportunities to market their services directly to thousands of personal injury lawyers nationwide, please see the media pack for information on this page.

A standard package includes the expert’s contact details and areas of expertise within the online search and directory. The enhanced option also displays a photograph or logo along with a brief overview of the expert’s expertise, again this would appear both on the online search and in the printed directory. Enhanced subscribers will also receive 6 issues of APIL’s PI Focus publication and discounts on further advertising.

Enrol online or by returning a completed application pack, an expert’s entry remains registered for a full 12 months from the date their subscription is accepted. The Experts and Rehabilitation Services directory is produced and sent out to APIL members in August. Advertisers and experts may also choose to place an advert in this publication.

The directory contains details of around 500 experts along with those rehabilitation service providers who have chosen to appear in this publication. The directory is an important reference book for members, forming an essential part of APIL’s communication network.

APIL is committed to promoting rehabilitation as part of the personal injury claims process. The rehabilitation service providers search, appearing on the members’ only area, is a vital tool to help members ensure that their clients receive both the opportunity to restore their lives as much as possible, whilst receiving full compensation. There are 134 rehabilitation service providers currently listed; rehabilitation providers who wish to be included within this listing should complete the rehabilitation form.

APIL’s online search options are important tools for members, forming an essential part of APIL’s communication network.
